Scifed International Summit on Cardiology-2018

2nd International Congress and Expo on Cardiology

Interventional Cardiology

 Cardiology-2018 conference

Interventional cardiology is a branch of cardiology that deals specifically with the catheter based treatment of structural heart diseasesAndreas Gruentzig is considered the father of interventional cardiology after the development of angioplasty by interventional radiologist Charles Dotter. Interventional cardiology is a non-surgical option which uses a catheter (a small flexible tube) to repair damaged or weakened vessels, narrowed arteries, or other affected parts of the heart structure.

The common conditions treated by interventional cardiology are: Coronary Artery Disease which means a narrowing of the arteries which supply the heart muscle with blood and oxygen, Heart Valve Diseases which occurs when the valves which control blood flow into the heart’s chambers are not working correctly and Peripheral Vascular Disease which means your heart can also be affected by clogged or hardened veins and arteries which are in other parts of your body.

The main advantages of using the interventional cardiology approach are the avoidance of the scars and pain, and long post-operative recovery. Additionally, interventional cardiology procedure of primary angioplasty is now the gold standard of care for an acute myocardial infarction. It involves the extraction of clots from occluded coronary arteries and deployment of stents and balloons through a small hole made in a major artery, which has given it the name "pin-hole surgery".

Cardiology-2018 is anticipating participants from 40 and more countries across the globe and the three day conference will provoke plenary sessions, Keynote speeches, Poster, and Oral presentations. The Scientific Federation provides a platform to have open discussions, knowledge sharing and interactive sessions with field experts at Cardiology-2018.

Scifed International Meeting on Cardiology-2018.

2nd International Congress and Expo on Cardiology

(Clinical Cardiology)

 Cardiology-2018 conference

The Section of Clinical Cardiology is often times the area where patients first have access to specialized inpatient and outpatient heart care and long-term management of their conditions. We see patients with very common heart problems, such as angina, artery problems, valvular heart disease, and heart failure.

Clinical Cardiology is fundamental to our approach to the patient and has been modified by technical advances in current practice. Clinical practice guidelines have become an essential tool for decision-making in routine patient management but, because of their length, can sometimes be difficult to read and, when several guidelines deal with the same topic, the result can be confusing. In addition, their proliferation and continual updating hamper extraction of the main points and their application in daily clinical practice.

The diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is made conventionally on the basis of the clinical history, serial electrocardiograms, and serum enzyme changes. This approach suffices in the majority of instances. However, recent enthusiasm for early intervention to reduce infarct size and the attempt to optimize coronary care utilization on a cost-effective basis has raised the need for early, sensitive, and specific indicators of myocardial necrosis. Recent reports have suggested that elevations of serum myoglobin (SMb) might provide such a parameter and permit estimation of prognosis and infarct size. However; a recent editorial has questioned the value of SMb in assessing suspected myocardial injury. We report here a study of serum myoglobin in a consecutive series of patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and in several other non-cardiac conditions. The sensitivity, specificity, and practical value of SMb are discussed in relation to a review of the literature.

Cardiology-2018 will also provide the excellent opportunity to meet experts, exchange information, and strengthen the collaboration among Directors, Researchers, Associate Professors, and Scholars from both academia and industry.

Scifed Global Expo on Cardiology-2018

2nd International Congress and Expo on Cardiology

(Current Research in Cardiology)

 Cardiology-2018 conference

Scientific Federation is delighted to welcome you to “2nd International Congress and Expo on Cardiology” which will be held on Toronto, Canada at September 20-21, 2018.

Theme: Advances in Clinical Cardiology and Recent Research on Future of Cardiac Health.

Advances in medicine means that if Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is detected at an early stage it can be treated successfully to extend the survival rate. Successful treatment is more likely if the disease is detected at its earliest stages. Our current research focuses on the early detection of CHD in order to halt or reverse the progress of the disease. The ongoing research includes pioneering the use of heart scanning in the early diagnosis of heart disease in diabetics. Development of Nuclear Cardiology techniques for the detection of heart disease. Drug development and evaluation of treatments used in heart disease. Current research in cardiology includes the new innovative methods that are coming in cardiology related field. In this sub-topic we have Statin Therapy, Thrombolytic Therapy and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Some research topics in cardiology includes: Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Research, Myocardial and Heart failure research, Fundamental basis of Excitability in the Heart, Genetic Basis for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease, Proteomic Analysis of Heart Disease, Mechanisms of Cardiac Hypertrophy and Remodeling etc. There are varieties of uses for Hand Held Ultrasound (HHU) in the field of medicine. HHU is currently used as an adjunct to the standard physical examination at bedside. In this case report, the use of HHU supplementing the cardiac exam lead to early diagnosis and treatment of cardiac tamponed which resulted in immediate improvement in patient’s hemodynamics and outcome.

Cardiology-2018 conference is anticipating participants from 40 and more countries across the globe and the two day conference will provide plenary sessions, Keynote speeches, Poster, and Oral presentations.

Scifed Global Conference on Cardiology-2018

2nd International Congress and Expo on Cardiology

 Cardiology-2018 conference

Scientific Federation is pleased to announce our worthwhile conference on “2nd International Congress and Expo on Cardiology” which will be held in Toronto, Canada at September 20-21, 2018. This conference is one of our yearly activities which have a goal of providing a setting for professionals in the respective field and our clients to learn about latest issues about health. The conference will have important Cardiology experts around the world who will share the knowledge to the participants.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the heart as well as parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology. Physicians who specialize in this field of medicine are called cardiologists, a speciality of internal medicine.

Cardiology is a rapidly changing field. New technologies such as drug-eluting stents, left ventricular assist devices, and novel inflammatory markers, and imaging modalities such as magnetic resonance imaging and three-dimensional echocardiography, offer us an unprecedented view of the function of the heart in health and an unparalleled scope of therapies with which to treat disease.

We honorably invite you to be a participant in the upcoming “Cardiology-2018” conference. The theme of the conference is “Advances in clinical cardiology and Recent Research on Future of Cardiac Health”. The sessions of the conference are: Current research in Cardiology, Clinical Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Transcatheter aortic valve replacement, coronary atherectomy in severely calcified lesions, New concepts in the pathogenesis and treatment of coronary artery disease, Electrophysiology, Pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery, Arrhythmia I, Lipids, obesity, metabolic syndrome and diabetes, cardiology-future medicine, Cardiac Diagnostic & Tests, Novel approaches for diagnosis and treatment, Cardiac Remodeling, Heart transplantation.
